Terms of Service

1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a contract between you and EXTHUS LTD, which trades as GR Widget (“we”, “us”, or “our”). They govern access to and use of the Service at https://grwidget.com, including our website, customer dashboard, embed scripts, APIs, and related documentation.

By creating an account, subscribing to a plan, installing an embed, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation.

If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) and capable of entering a binding contract. You must provide accurate registration information and keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

3. Description of the Service

GR Widget is a software-as-a-service platform that helps you display Google review content on websites you control. The Service includes:

• connecting Google Business Profile locations via Google Place IDs;
• configuring review widgets (rating badges, review feeds, and sticker embeds);
• generating embed code (script tag and HTML placeholders) for your site;
• automatic review sync on a schedule determined by your plan;
• optional features on higher tiers, such as branding removal, filters, reviewer avatars, review photos, AI summary cards, white-label options, and rich snippets in google search; and
• a public feature requests board and customer support channels.

Plan limits — including widgets, authorised domains, maximum reviews displayed, sync frequency, and feature access — are described on our Pricing page and in your dashboard. We may modify features or limits with reasonable notice where required, provided core paid functionality is not removed without remedy during an active billing period except as permitted below.

4. Account responsibilities

You agree to:

• maintain accurate account and billing contact details;
• connect only Google listings you are authorised to represent;
• register domains you own or control and keep your domain list current;
• use embed keys only on authorised domains configured in your account;
• comply with applicable laws, including consumer protection, advertising, and data-protection rules that apply to your website and use of reviews; and
• ensure your site visitors are informed as required when you display third-party review content.

5. Acceptable use

You may not, and may not allow others to:

• use the Service for unlawful, deceptive, or harmful purposes;
• scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Service beyond normal embed and dashboard use, or attempt to bypass rate limits, authentication, or domain restrictions;
• reverse engineer, copy, or resell the Service except as expressly permitted on Agency or white-label plans;
• misrepresent your affiliation with Google, GR Widget, or reviewed businesses;
• alter, fabricate, or selectively misrepresent review content in a way that violates Google policies or applicable law;
• embed widgets on domains you have not registered within your plan’s domain allowance;
• overload or interfere with infrastructure (including denial-of-service attempts); or
• upload malware or attempt unauthorised access to other accounts or systems.

We may suspend or terminate access that violates these rules or poses risk to the platform or third parties.

6. Subscriptions, billing, and plans

6.1 Plans

GR Widget offers Free, Site, Business, and Agency plans with different limits and features. Current pricing is shown on our Pricing page.

6.2 Payment processing

Paid subscriptions are billed through Stripe. You authorise recurring charges to your selected payment method (monthly or yearly, as chosen) until you cancel. Card and bank details are processed by Stripe; we do not store full payment credentials.

6.3 Renewals

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current rate for your plan and billing cycle, unless cancelled before renewal. Taxes may apply where required by law.

6.4 Cancellation

You may cancel a paid subscription at any time from your dashboard billing portal or by contacting support. Cancellation stops future charges; access to paid features typically continues until the end of the current paid period, after which your account reverts to Free plan limits.

6.5 Plan changes and downgrades

Upgrades may take effect immediately with prorated or adjusted billing handled through Stripe where supported. Downgrades may reduce available widgets, domains, or features; you are responsible for adjusting configuration before downgrading if the Service warns that limits will be exceeded. Excess domains or widgets may stop serving until you comply with the new plan limits.

6.6 Refunds

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on your first paid subscription charge if you are unsatisfied, unless otherwise stated at checkout. Refund requests should be sent to support@grwidget.com within 14 days of the initial charge. Renewals and partial billing periods are generally non-refundable except where required by law.

6.7 Free plan

The Free plan is provided without charge and may be modified or discontinued with reasonable notice. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of free-tier features.

7. Intellectual property

The Service — including software, design, documentation, trademarks, and the GR Widget name and logo — is owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. Subject to these Terms and your plan, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the dashboard and embed scripts solely to display widgets for your authorised businesses and domains.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the Service except as expressly allowed. Feedback you provide may be used by us without restriction or compensation.

8. User content and Google review display

Review text, star ratings, reviewer names, photos, and business information shown in widgets originate from Google and third-party reviewers, not from GR Widget. We cache and format that content for display but do not claim ownership of reviews.

• You are responsible for ensuring you have a lawful basis to display reviews on your site and for complying with Google’s Business Profile and Maps Platform policies.
• Displayed reviews may not reflect real-time Google listings because of caching and sync intervals.
• Rich snippets in Google search outputs are provided as a convenience; Google alone decides whether star ratings and review counts appear in search results.
• GR Widget is not affiliated with Google. Google trademarks and review content remain the property of their respective owners.

You retain ownership of configuration choices and non-Google materials you upload or enter. You grant us a licence to host, process, and transmit that material as needed to operate the Service.

9. Third-party services

The Service integrates with third parties such as Google (Places, optional sign-in, Analytics, reCAPTCHA) and Stripe. Your use of those services is subject to their terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party outages, policy changes, or data practices outside our control.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ACCURACY OF REVIEW DATA OR SEO OUTCOMES.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that Google data will always be available, complete, or current.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, EXTHUS LTD (TRADING AS GR WIDGET) AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) FIFTY US DOLLARS (USD $50).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

12. Indemnification

You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless EXTHUS LTD (trading as GR Widget) and its affiliates from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your websites, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of third-party rights — including misuse of Google review data or embedding on unauthorised domains.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time by contacting support@grwidget.com. We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you breach these Terms, fail to pay fees when due, or if continued provision poses legal or security risk.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends. Provisions that by nature should survive (including payment obligations accrued, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and governing law) will survive termination.

14. Modifications to the Service and Terms

We may update the Service and these Terms from time to time. Material changes to Terms will be posted on this page with an updated date. Where required by law, we will provide additional notice. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree to revised Terms, you must stop using the Service and cancel any paid subscription.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country require otherwise.

If you are a consumer in the EEA or UK, you may also have rights under local mandatory laws that these Terms do not override.

16. General

• Entire agreement: These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and EXTHUS LTD (trading as GR Widget) regarding the Service.
• Severability: If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect.
• No waiver: Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our rights.
• Assignment: You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
